I am a 37 year old female and for as long as I can remember I have been dealing and fighting with ADHD, Anxiety, OCD, and everything else that comes with this emotional rollercoaster. Life has been tricky and hard with my brain constantly fighting my body. I heard about this class and my curiosity got the better of me, I was very apprehensive and nervous because I didn't know what to expect. But I have been going for 2 weeks now and I can whole heartedly say it has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. "I call it dance the chakra'' for the first time in years I feel aligned spiritually, mind and body, at peace and focused.
Shelley is a fantastic teacher who brings beautiful strong energy to every class.

An inspiration.
I feel that I was more concerned with being on time for the session and I knew I had to open up to my body more, especially with dance as this is what opens me up to my true essence which I suppress a lot! During the session I did feel at ease in allowing my body to express itself. I did become aware that I was in my head concerned about various bits including my fitness. I felt good allowing my masculine to have its say which also felt like my feminine also having her say, as she's been overwhelmed and misunderstood by my masculine for a long long time and my masculine has also been confused by my feminine not accepting my masculine. Def evident in my body as both wanting to be seen felt and heard.
Can see why our inner child gets so upset and confused! On the way home tears did flow. I was forgiving myself for not acknowledging my body and my soul and the innate power and intelligence of both wanting to feel in harmony and joyful! Don't know if this helps you in anyway.
An amazing session and I would love to come again.
